Ortovox, a mountain-inspired apparel and gear brand, has named Stefan Kohlbauer chief executive officer, effective Saturday. A passionate alpinist based in the Tyrol region, Kohlbauer has extensive experience in the outdoor, sport and fashion industries and previously served as director of sales and marketing for the German company. He succeeds Martin Riebel, managing director of Schwan-Stabilo Outdoor, who had served as interim CEO.
